Here we are in the midst of summer when many families pack up the car and head to the beach with the hopes of soaking up a little sun and coming home with enough memories to last through the long cold winter. We found a great way to keep the summer fun going long after your summer vacation has passed. Here in NY it seems that the whole city is buzzing about the new Sex in the City movie. After all most of us spent days locked up in our bedrooms with bon-bons and a box of tissues sobbing after hearing the news the show was in its final season. It seems that everyone I know had a ritual for watching the show whether it be alone – with friends or even out at a hot spot. For me, each week Chloe and I snuggled up on the couch with a freshly poured Cosmo (hers was virgin of course!) and enjoyed the episode.
Once our friends at Haute Diggity Dog got wind of the movie they couldn’t but create a few parody toys inspired by our favorite foursome. Your pooch will learn a few show stopping ways from none other than Sarah Jessica Barker who is also the cardholder of the new and highly coveted Barkneys Credit Card toy featuring none other than a Manalo Barknik on the front. After a long day of shopping in the city your furry fashionista will want to meet up with friends kick off their Manalo Barkniks and enjoy a cool Cosmo!!

Since spring is on the way its time to start thinking about some of my favorite warm weather treats like festival cotton candy and ice cream cones!! One of our favorite designers, Ruff Ruff Couture has taken these delicious treats to a whole new level by incorporating them into their spring line and let us be the first to say it is deliciously irresistible!! We’ll feature their new “sweets” line of apparel and toys in just a few weeks and we promise you’ll get a toothache they’re so sweet!! What’s your favorite summertime treats? I love this time of year. The days are getting a bit longer and spring
fashion is in full bloom which means warm weather is just around the corner.
The bright colors and whimsical patterns just scream here comes the sun!! A
perennial spring/summer favorite is terry cloth and this year is no

Here’s the deal…You love your dog and want to pamper them with an assortment of fabulous toys but they seem to chew thru each one in a matter of moments. Great news…Our Huck and Hurley toys could just be the answer…They are wonderful to toss and fetch but the manufacturer West Paw also will make a one time replacement of your toy should your pooch manage to destroy it!! So now you have wonder what are these toys made of right!! They are made right here in the USA of an extremely tough, pliable, non-toxic material but they are easy for your pooch to pick up and they won’t hurt there teeth. What we also love is that both Huck and Hurley float and bounce making them fabulously versatile!! So aggressive chewers – tuggers and fetchers bring your “A” game for this toy!!

Being a tiny dog is a lot like a being 5′5″ woman (take it from me, I am one) trying to find jeans. At the risk of sounding like Goldie-locks they are either too long – too short but they are never just right!! The same holds true for tiny dogs most toys and bowls are just way too big for them and collars forget about it…The buckle is usually bigger than the dogs entire neck!! Good news…It may require a little digging but finally designers are answering the call of tiny pups!! We found the most darling itsy bitsy bowls which are available in pink, blue, or pink leopard and they are just the perfect size for the tiniest pampered pooches!! If playtime is what your petite pup craves try the Sweet Pals and Little Friends toy collections these teeny toys max out at just 3.5″ in length!! Pucker up because Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and we just received a shipment of Kiss Kiss Lips which is a plush – squeakable toy in the shape of none other than a set of lips!! We can’t get enough of them. They are especially fun for small dogs because if they grab the toy just right all you can see is a giant set of lips quickly approaching. We haven’t laughed this hard in a long time and just couldn’t wait to share them with you!! They also have the initials S.W.A.K which stands for sealed with a kiss of course!!

The new collection of knit toys by Simply Fido are incredible. If you haven’t tried them you just don’t know what you’re missing.
