Here in NY we are currently having the largest snow storm of the season. When Chloe and I ventured out into the elements this morning she bundled up tighter than a Kindergartner to ensure she stayed warm and safe while we enjoyed the fresh powder. Keep your pooch toasty warm and protected during in-climate weather with a few of our winter essentials. First outerwear is essential!! We love the Sport Vest it’s a lined vest and the benefit of a vest is that it allows your pup’s legs to have maximum flexibility. Another fab jacket is the Toggle Parka (this is the one Chloe has). We adore this parka it has removable sleeves and a detachable hood!! If you plan to romp in areas that have been salted boots are a must-have!! While we have both functional and designer shoes we suggest selecting the functional design with ribbed bottom for extra traction and protection. For paws that are dry and cracked from extreme weather the BowWow Butter Balm or Mango PawPaya paw balms work wonders to restore moisture back into the paws. Another fantastic body product duo for winter is the FurButter and Comfy Dog Shampoo. Both products are great for dry chapped skin and restore luster and shine back into your pup’s coat.
